Protection and Spiritual Boundaries

Prayers for a sense of safety and for healthy boundaries — the ability to remain open-hearted without becoming permeable to harm. This category never diagnoses spiritual attack or confirms hostile forces; it speaks instead of shelter, dignity, wise limits and, where needed, the courage to seek practical help from trusted people.

Come as you are

  • feel safe and sheltered
  • set a healthy boundary
  • release what is not mine
  • ask for help when needed

A gentle note

  • If you are experiencing harm, this space supports you — and so do people and services trained for exactly this. Reaching out is encouraged.

Protection and Spiritual Boundaries

A Shelter Not a Fortress

Sheltering One, in whom the vulnerable have always taken refuge,

I ask for safety — not the illusion that nothing can touch me, but the reality of being accompanied in whatever can. Teach me the difference between walls and boundaries: walls close me off from love; boundaries let love in and keep harm out. Give me clarity about what is mine to carry and what was never mine. Be my shelter in the storm, and my honesty about the weather. Amen.

For reflection — no answer needed

To sit with — nothing to write down
Where does your 'yes' currently mean something you do not intend?
To sit with — nothing to write down
What boundary, once set, gave you back a piece of yourself?
To sit with — nothing to write down
What are you absorbing that was never yours to carry?
