I bring you the muddied water of my thinking. I do not ask you to choose for me; I ask you to help me see. Let the sediment settle — the fear, the flattery, the wish to be thought well of — until what remains is clear enough to read. Give me honesty about my own motives, patience with unfinished answers, and the courage to act on the little I do know rather than waiting for a certainty that may never come.
When the water clears, give me the will to follow what it shows. Amen.
