How LumenNous works

A library first, with bounded generation

LumenNous begins with a curated library: original prayers, affirmations, practices and teachings, written to an editorial standard and labelled for tradition and evidence. Seed material remains marked as draft until its human editorial pass is complete. The daily selection on Today is deterministic, using the date and category so it stays stable through the day. Another selection is a library choice, not a message from beyond.

What the Engine does

In this test build, Create sends 'based on my words' requests through a server route to the configured AI provider. If a user chooses a specific intention from the dropdown, the on-board library system assembles the result without a model call. The local Engine still classifies AI-bound requests, supplies safe grounding context and handles fixed safety responses without asking a model to improvise. Generated text is labelled as AI-assisted and is not presented as a citation or message from beyond.

Variation comes from shuffle bags. Each category, output type and preference set has a bag of compatible content IDs. An ID is used once before the bag is refilled, and a new cycle cannot begin with the item that ended the previous one. Combined practices draw from separate bags for prayer, affirmation, practice and prompt, making exact repetition unlikely without pretending that chance carries spiritual authority.

Privacy by design

No account is required. In this test build, free-word Create requests are sent to the configured AI provider through the server route; chosen-intention requests stay with the on-board library system. Local history stores only content IDs, cycle counters and short fingerprints. Saved items live in browser storage, exportable and deletable at any time.

The human fences

Requests containing signs of self-harm, abuse, medical emergency or fears of possession bypass normal composition. They receive calm, fixed, human-written language that preserves dignity, avoids metaphysical escalation and points toward trusted people and professional care. The classifier is a conservative routing aid, not a diagnosis. Some moments should not be personalised by an algorithm; the Engine is deliberately designed to know that limit.
