Ten-Minute Lament Practice
Before you begin
Choose a position that feels supported. Eyes may remain open, and breath focus is always optional.
The practice, step by step — read it all first if you like
Step 1
Ground with sound, touch or breath for one minute.
Step 2
Name the grief or complaint plainly.
Step 3
Let there be silence without fixing it.
Step 4
Ask for what is needed today, not for the whole future to resolve.
Step 5
Choose whether to add a trust line; do not force it.
Step 6
Close by feeling the ground and naming one form of support available now.
Accessibility
Use sound, touch or a visible object instead of breath. Pause or stop at any time.
How long do you have?
Or read through it quietly above, at your own pace.
